Taiga Tooth, B&B, on Christiansen Lake, Talkeetna Alaska
Welcome to The Alaska Adventure!
Jo’s Dry Cabin, nestled along the shore of Christiansen Lake, is just off the paved road. There is ample pull through parking for cars and trailers. We can often offer shuttle service from the train depot in Talkeetna. Transportation is also available to and from Anchorage.
Here at Taiga Tooth, there are rock-rimmed fire pits, tables and benches by the lake, and scattered through the woods. Our dock is the perfect place to launch your canoe, or to just sit and soak up those l-o-o-o-ng Alaska Not-Winter days. Guests are also welcome to relax in our wood fired sauna.
Just across the road, Talkeetna Lakes Park offers well maintained trails, a popular beach, and excellent canoeing on the lake chain. Winter or summertime, our guests can walk, bike, ski, or sled, in limitless back country from many other trails in the area. Historic Talkeetna, only about 6K from Taiga Tooth, offers many other opportunities for exploring the wilderness. ATV tours, jet boat river trips, flight seeing, and nature hikes are available. The Historic Downtown District provides numerous dining options. Many shops offer great handicrafts from local artisans.
